2. What data we process
- The account's e-mail address: for logging in, confirming the address, recovering the password and messages about the account.
- The password: only as a hash from which it cannot be read.
- The IP address: at registration and login, to protect the forms from automation and abuse.
- Game data: characters, their progress, items, deaths, Chronicle entries, conversations in game channels and the records needed to detect bots.
- The language chosen on the website.
3. Why and on what basis
- Running the account and the game: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Security, protection against abuse and enforcing the terms: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Billing and tax duties once the shop opens: a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
4. What is public
A character's name, level, vocation, guild, titles, Chronicle entries and latest deaths are visible to everyone. The e-mail address is never public. Hunting sessions are private until you share them.
5. Cookies
The website uses only necessary cookies: lw_session (being logged in, up to 30 days) and lw_locale (the chosen language). We use no advertising or tracking cookies and send no data to advertising networks.
6. Who we entrust data to
Data is stored by our suppliers: server hosting [HOSTING PROVIDER] and mail delivery [MAIL PROVIDER]. Once the shop opens, payments will be handled by [PAYMENT OPERATOR]. We do not sell data.
7. How long
- Account data: until the account is deleted.
- IP addresses and security records: for [PERIOD] from being recorded.
